How to maintain an electric shaver

Update:18 Jun 2021

When installing and disassembling the electric shaver, be sure to disconnect the power supply, otherwise, there is a danger of being cut. Because the front end of the inner blade has a sharp edge, special care should be taken when assembling and disassembling.

Pay attention to the gaps in common razors. Because the cutting edges and pores of the inner and outer blades of the electric shaver are easy to hide shavings and dander, the solidification of shavings and skin oil will hinder the movement and sharpness of the blade, so you must always remove the debris remaining on the cutting edge. . It is recommended that you should try to clean it with a small brush after each use.

When using an electric shaver, apply evenly, not excessively. Because the outer knife is thin, do not push it with a big knife to avoid deformation. Once deformed, it will hinder the rotation of the inner knife or cut the skin during use. If the cutting edge is deformed and damaged, it should not be used again, otherwise there will be a danger of cuts.

If you are using an electric shaver with a carbon brush motor, it is recommended that the time should not be too long each time you use it. Otherwise, the carbon brush and commutator of the motor will be worn out, so that the rotating force will be weakened.

The battery of the electric shaver also needs maintenance. The battery should be used within the ambient temperature of 0~40℃. When not in use for a long time, it is recommended to remove the dry battery for storage to avoid damage to internal parts due to liquid leakage.

After the electric shaver is fully charged, the plug should be pulled out immediately. If it is left unused for a long time after charging, it will discharge by itself and reduce the electromotive force. Therefore, when it is left for more than three months, it should be recharged before use. Continuous charging for more than two days can shorten the battery life, so it should be avoided.
